The Authority of a Believer!

“And He said to them, I saw satan falling like a lightning [flash] from Heaven. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” (Luke 10:18 -19)

You have to understand who you are in Christ. Grow and establish yourself in faith, God is a faith God. As you grow spiritually you have to develop your own faith and not depend on other people’s faith all the time. Once you get a revelation of your redemption your faith will grow.

Equipped with The Holy Spirit of God

"However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves."(2 Corinthians 4:7)

The Anointing of God knows that you are carrying the ability of God. It brings peace and when you are in a situation He will take you out with double victory. The Holy Spirit is a comforter, friend, advocate, teacher and has many other attributes…

Have Faith in God

“And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.” (Mark 11:22-23)

Faith is simply believing and acting on the words of the integrity of another. Faith in God is to believe and act on what He says. The Words of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Mark admonish us to have Faith in God. What God is saying is, “Have the God Kind of Faith ” Don’t put your Faith in your own Faith. Don’t put your Faith in the Faith of others.

Life rooted in God - Part 2

“[Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation. For it was in Him that all things were created, in Heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.” (Colossians 1:15-16)

Jesus upholds all things ‘By the Word of His Power’ God’s Power is released in you when you stay alive with His Word. When God created plants, He called them forth from the soil, thereby establishing the law that plants must live off the soil. When the plant violates that Word, it dies.

God keeps that plant alive in the Power of His Word. As long as the plant abides by the Law of God set at creation, it flourishes and grows. But if the plant chooses to disregard that law, death is inevitable. The same is true in our lives.

Life rooted in God - Part 1

“But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but canceling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

We have been given the responsibility to share the message of the Gospel with the whole World. If you cut yourself from God, your potential is aborted. You cannot plant yourself in anything but God. You must know God personally and draw your nutrients from Him. Our need for God is not an alternative or option. Like the plants and the animals, which cannot be maintained without soil, and the fish which cannot live outside the water, we cannot flourish and bear fruit apart from God.

Confession for Change!

"In the name of Jesus, I declare that I have a Blood ‐ bought right to answered prayer. The Word of God is my guarantee. Father, by prayer, supplication and with thanksgiving, I can make my requests known to You.

You hear the prayer of the righteous and answer them. Your eyes are on me and Your ears are open to hear my prayers.

I am connected to Christ Jesus, and I am anointed. In everything I do I am more than a conqueror. Because I abide in You, and Your Word abides in me, I see the manifestation of answered prayer.

Glorify God, The Creator

“[And Ezra said], You are the Lord, You alone; You have made Heaven, the Heaven of Heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and You preserve them all, and the hosts of Heaven worship You.” (Nehemiah 9:6)

When we read the story of creation in Genesis 1 and 2, we see the greatness of God in the process of creation. God created the world out of nothing – He spoke and the chaos and darkness disappeared; Heaven and earth came into existence. During the first three days, God subdued the darkness, as well as the mass of water covering the earth.

God is Able - Well Able!

“Can you bind the chains of [the cluster of stars called] Pleiades, or loose the cords of [the constellation] Orion? Can you lead forth the signs of the zodiac in their season? Or can you guide [the stars of] the Bear with her young? Do you know the ordinances of the Heavens? Can you establish their rule upon the earth?” (Job 38:31-33)

When we read scientific reports about the galaxies and the whole universe we realize how small we really are. It is only God who can determine their influence on our times, seasons and weather. Even with the most advanced cameras and telescopes, we can see only a small part of the universe.

Like God, the universe is far too big to be measured with our man‐made instruments. The more we learn about the universe, the more we realize that man will never really be able to fathom it – not even with the best technology available to us.

God - Our God is Faithful!

“Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.” (Psalm 119:11, 14)

When someone promises you something and fails to keep that promise, it leaves you feeling discontent. Unfortunately, there are few people in this world who are completely trustworthy. I am sure that you have made promises to people that you have not kept. But, we can depend on God’s promises. We can always count on His Word.

There are hundreds of promises chronicled in the Bible. And each one of them is completely true. Twice Joshua reminds the people of Israel that the Lord has kept every one of the promises He made to them. Every promise has been fulfilled (see Joshua 21:45, 23:14)

You are in Christ Jesus?!

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [Gods] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)

It’s vital to know who you are in Christ. Whatever Jesus had done for you and for me, it’s not just an historical account, it is more that. It is a vital plan of God and the vital life of God that first was wrath in Christ Jesus, legally what He had done for us and vitally what it means to us in this life.

Whatever Jesus did for us is not a religious story, it’s more than that. It was God’s plan for man from the beginning of the ages, since Adam had fallen, God in Genesis 3:15, had prophetically made a declaration to the devil that he will be destroyed by the seed of a woman. It was God’s divine plan to save mankind.

Kingdom Principles of Tithing

“Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10)

You are not gonna have your barns filled with plenty unless you do the first line, ‘Honor the Lord with thy substance’, this means that according to how the Lord prospers you, you are to honor the Lord with the first fruits of all of your increase. This means when you get a salary, you are to give God 10% of that salary, or any sort of income.

Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ

“And she did this for many days. Then Paul, being sorely annoyed and worn out, turned and said to the spirit within her, I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! And it came out that very moment.” (Acts 16:18)

In the above account, a lady that followed Paul & the other disciples, called out and said Acts 16:17 "She kept following Paul and [the rest of] us, shouting loudly, These men are the servants of the Most High God! They announce to you the way of salvation!” Notice that Paul addressed the spirit of this lady.

God knows me by name

“For the sake of Jacob My servant, and of Israel My chosen, I have called you by your name. I have surnamed you, though you have not known Me.” (Isaiah 45:4)

Speaking through the prophet Isaiah, the Lord assured Cyrus, for the sake of Israel, He had summoned him by name, even though Cyrus did not acknowledge Him. This is the only time in the Old Testament that a Gentile is called the anointed of the Lord. Cyrus was a heathen king who did not worship God, and yet, God singled him out to become His instrument, He summoned him by name. God does something unheard of here: He creates a unique event through which a heathen is used to deliver His people.

Supper with The Master

“Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.” (1 Corinthians 11:25)

The Lord Jesus was very symbolical, when He took the bread He once and for all times said to the Church that this is My body which is broken for you. That means Jesus didn’t die in death in vain. He did it for a course, what was His course and objective for the Church.

That the Church may rise up and take its place. You can partake of life, for He has come to give you life and life more abundantly, that’s the abundant life that you are to partake of. We need to discern the Body of Christ correctly. 2 Corinthians 5vs17 "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" What are the new things that are spoken in scripture?

A forgiving and loving Father

“He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge. He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalms 103:9-10, 12)

In God’s eyes, every man deserves the death penalty, because of his inherent sinfulness. God is however merciful and loving. He does not hold the wrongs that we commit every day against us. He does not punish us the way we deserve to be punished – He loves us far too much for that. Instead, God sent His Son to pay the debt for our sins.

SAFETY - In Yahweh!

“And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!” (Exodus 3:13-14)

When Moses wanted to know God’s Name, God revealed Himself as “I am who I am”. This name reflects something of God’s nature. The Hebrew for God’s first name can also be translated as “I shall be what I shall be”. God’s Hebrew name was written using for consonants: YHWH. This was pronounced as “Yahweh”, as the original Hebrew did not make use of any vowels.

The Jews had such a deep reverence for the Name of God that they did not say it out loud, but rather used the Hebrew word for Lord, “Adonai”, when the Name Yahweh appeared in the Scriptures. The names of pagan gods usually revealed something about their characteristics. God differs from all other gods. When God revealed this Name to Moses. He proclaimed how great He is. He distinguishes Himself from the lifeless idols as the Living God, the God who is. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.” (Proverbs 18:10). If you worship the living God, the God who is, you can be sure that His Name will also be a place of safety for you.

God is EVERYWHERE

“Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? says the Lord. Do not I fill Heaven and earth? says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:24)

There is no place on earth where we can hide from God. He is everywhere. For this reason, God’s children can be certain that He will always be by their side. While Jesus dwelt on this earth, He could only be in one place at a time, because He was a human being like us. But God cannot be confined. He is everywhere simultaneously. “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

God promises in Isaiah 41:10. “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.” God promises to be near you, too. God can never be far away, because He lives within you through His Holy Spirit.

The Only God - No Other!

“Are there any among the false gods of the nations who can cause rain? Or can the Heavens [of their own will] give showers? Are You [alone] not He, O Lord our God? Therefore we will wait [expectantly] for You, for You have made all these things [the Heavens and the rain].” (Jeremiah 14:22)

In the Bible we often read about idols. Every nation worshipped different gods. Today there are many religions in the world. The new age movement and some religions claim that all these different gods are basically one and the same. Whether you pray to buddah, allah or whoever else, you come out at the same place.

But we know this is not true! There are millions of people who are praying to gods, hoping that those gods will be able to do something for them – but to no avail. There is only one true God. The Triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The faith of all those who do not believe in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is worthless. Jesus said, “Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.” (John 14:6). God is the only True God. He is the only one who gives life, who sends rain and who can control nature.

God knows you - Very Well

“O LORD, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You know my down-sitting and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off” (Psalms 139:1-2)

Even though God is great and omnipotent, He knows each one of us. He knows absolutely everything about us. He perceives our thoughts from afar, the Psalmist writes. He saw us even before we were born, and then He wrote all the days ordained for us in His book before any of them came to be. At first, I found the thought that God knows me so well rather disturbing.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it is indeed a very comforting thought! God knows you inside out. When you find yourself in the midst of a crisis, He knows about it, even though it may sometimes feel as though He is not listening to your prayers. He promises to help you. God is aware of all your heartache and challenges in life. He even knows how many hairs are on your head.

You are God's Temple

“Your hands have made me, cunningly fashioned and established me; give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.”. (Psalms 119:73)

I will never forget the first time I looked at a scan of my unborn grandchild. It was explained to us in great detail where the little head, legs, arms, hands and feet appeared on the blurred image. While looking at this miracle in front of me, I instinctively thought of Psalm 139:13‐14: “For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mothers womb. I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.”

Of all the wonderful things that God created, man is by far the most wonderful. It is amazing how intricately He has “knit us together”. Through the years, scientists have succeeded in doing many wonderful things, but no one but God can create life. “Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” says the psalmist (Psalms 100:3).
